A nice sedate 61mm for us overnight...and 191 so far this event....very very nice rain indeed..I've been out planting this morning as the ground is lovely and soft but not waterlogged yet..

However 379mm for Topaz overnight and 498mm in the past 48 hrs....!!!...A wicked convergence area in red and yellow on the radar was sitting right in there on the ranges behind Babinda from late night till this morning...seems to have extended right along the ranges to the south side of Cairns at SM's place now..crazy rain for you SM and only 63mm at the cairns airport gauge...

I cant remember seeing the likes of it in September before up that way...

Nice to see daintree get some also..I thought they were going to miss out.
