Hi Scott, I spent Sunday night in ED in Kans base and most of yesterday, the Measles is all down to backpackers
according to the ambo and a couple of nurses I was talking to, so not our home bred mob of fools.
Also lot's of RSV & covid getting around, I couldn't get out of there quick enough. Glad I came in the back door
and didn't have to sit in the waiting area..
You look at the Ambo's getting along and never give them much thought, I just imagined that they would be very
smooth and quiet, Well, the Mercedes single stretcher have terrible bloody suspension and every bump or pot hole
it felt Cursing and the bigger not sure on the maker but the double bed ones are really loud with road noise,
& the suspension is not really any better, I was very surprised and a little disappointed.
However the crews were bloody fantastic...

I'm fine, just very soar..
I knocked my mower off a couple of jacks trying to fit a new drive belt, it landed on my chest trapping me
under it for about 90 seconds before I somehow managed to get out. I rang the Mrs (in Weipa) after a bit
just to talk to her, I was in shock, she realised and after we spoke she rang the ambo's... I was getting stuff
ready to go back and have another go at it when they showed up LOL
My chest is black and blue, but amazingly nothing was broken, it could of gone way worse.
So men {weather mates) don't do dumb shit, I knew it was a possibility and did it anyway, we are our own worst enemy..

Bloody radar, can't imagine they would let one in Sydney or Melbourne be off line for to long..

Last weeks event was a nice drink for the gardens before October when I expect it to dry out and start getting hot.
Forecast for a few showers in the next couple of days, then a clearing trend.

Cheers
