There is no let up with this system. The latest STW and a growing list of hail size, rain and wind gusts.

The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 7:15 pm, severe thunderstorms likely to produce damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding were detected near Moogerah and Moogerah Dam. These thunderstorms are moving towards the northeast. They are forecast to affect Boonah, Aratula and Clifton by 7:45 pm and Ipswich, Laidley and Peak Crossing by 8:15 pm.

5 CM HAIL STONES WERE REPORTED AT HELIDON AT 2:35 PM.

5 CM HAIL STONES WERE REPORTED AT NOBBY AT 1:55 PM.

5 CM HAIL STONES WERE REPORTED AT CLIFTON AT 1:30 PM.

9 CM HAIL STONES WERE REPORTED AT PRATTEN AT 1:03 PM.

100 km/h wind gust was recorded at Emerald Airport at 7:01 pm.

2 cm hail stones were reported at Yarraman at 5:52 pm.

104 km/h wind gust was recorded at Dalby Airport at 4:14 pm.

46 mm of rainfall was recorded at O Connor (Weir River) in the 30 minutes to 4:00 pm.

2 cm hail stones were reported at Mt Walker at 12:44 pm.
