Haven't heard from my niece yet. The power is out almost everywhere.

The worst is over but it looks like it might still be fairly wild up there for a bit.

Minimal online reports so far. ABC has updates, but saw most video clips last night on a youtube livestream. Channel 9 had a short update. Zero mention of a cyclone in Fairfax media and Guardian an hour ago...

EDIT: Niece is fine. They had 127km wind gusts and 150mm rain at Fannie Bay.
