We had an inch a few days back and a few mm's since ...Wow it was lovely everything just instantly perked up around here....

Had a storm day before yesterday that was wild and gusty but hardly any rain....it seems like the radars are overcooking it a bit down here..Have watched the rain over us on the radar translating to much less on the ground...

I'm still using the older radar as the pixelation and clarity on the new one just doesnt seem to work that great..Also harder to find our place on the new radar compared to the old..

and looks like some nice rain forecast for Cairns and further north in the next couple of days with bugga all for us down here..
