Just 2mm here this morning, high cloud that I feel will burn off soon.
Yeah Weary, the southerly's are still very warm, Been looking forward to a bit of relief form these real hot sap sucking days.
Scott, I have a 5/8 simplex turret and a few dies but don't use that one much, I went out and brought a Foster Co Ax and foster dies in all my calibres, also have a RCBS single stage (just the small one) that I've setup with universal de-capping die. Also have a pacific progressive shotgun press, but have never loaded shot shells with it other than to see how it worked. I was heading up to Cooktown to shoot clays every month a few years back, but a neighbour and I brought a trap and just shoot a few for fun when we can be bothered. Well we did till Jasper and the trap went under in the flood and he has had trouble finding a new motor to suit. Yes a lot to be said for taking your time, especially with reloading. You have a hornet, that's great, it's such a great little cartridge, I've got 2 , but don't shoot them enough. Miss shooting foxes. A mate down in Bris has access to Deer in the fringes & uses a hornet around 19:30 - 20:30 when everyone is watching TV, has good results on very small holdings and nobody is any the wiser.
So good to see that the premier has had a sensible approach to our gun laws. Now he just has to hold on with the tidal wave of anti gun BS that is going to come our way. If only that idiot in NSW had of been so sensible and not gone off on a knee jerk reaction that will do nothing to stop it happening again if they want to do it they will still find a way. If container loads of cigarettes can get in every day, how many guns are coming in ??
I'll have to watch a few of those clips, and I know what you mean about the old carcass not moving like it did, I've been packing on a bit of weight over the last few months, not really doing much and just cooking & eating lots of good food & breads, time to get off my butt and do a bit more lol
Looks like mowing day and a bit of spraying :)
Cheers
