Eased off to just rain in the last half hour or so so made the most of it and took the dog for her run
and locked up the neighbours chooks. (soaked chooks look bad )
170mm today and counting in bout 12hrs

Bloomfield is flooding nicely up over the bridge on the cameras as are all the Cooktown rivers & creeks.

So far not much wind, but I can tell you the breezes that do come through are very cool after all this heat :)
Must be getting soft :)
No trees down locally yet, but something will fall soon enough.
