As there hasn’t been much going on weather wise is SE Queensland for awhile I’ve been slowly trying to locate working live weather cams around SE Quuensland to view during the storm season. In addition to the web cams I’ve listed if you google Weather Underground and go to the wundermap at Wundermap and filter for any private weather stations around your areas that have a web cam attached.

If you are not from SE Qld there are numerous live webs cams at Air Services Australia, Skycams and Myweb cams links below.
I’ve only listed the ones that seem fairly stable and working and that show a good view of the sky (except for the flood cams).

Clifton Airfield Cameras Four cameras at Clifton on the Darling Downs between Warwick and Toowoomba

Warwick Gliding Club 2 cameras from the Warwick Gliding Club just north of Warwick in Queensland.

Air Services Australia Use the link on the page. 27 locations throughout Australia. Mutiple cameras at each location. For SE Qld Toowoomba, Archerfield, Gold Coast and Watts Bridge (In the Brisbane Valley).

Skycam Network 58 cameras across 26 airports. For SE Qld Charleville, Roma.

My Web Cams Australia Select from the drop-down menu for Aviation, Numerous smaller airports across Australia. For SE Qld Some great views from Boonah, Gatton, Caboolture, Chapel Hill (Yes the same one but working as was on the Australian Web Cam network), Murwillumbah (northern NSW) Heck Field near Jacobs Well.

Cleveland Web Cam 1 camera at Cleveland in the eastern suburbs of Brisbane.

McLeans Ridges NSW web cam Michael Bath’s weather station and web cam at McLeans Ridges Northern NSW

Darling Downs Soaring Club webcam 1 camera at Jondaryan near Oakey on the Darling Downs. Appears to be stuck on the 17/9/2019 but if you play the 24 hr time lapse the latest photo will appear.

Ocean View Weather Station web cam The best one!BigGrin

These are all live but good watching if there is heavy rain around and a bit of flooding going on. Clear enough to see if the location is getting heavy rain or hail.

Lockyer Valley flood monitoring cameras 12 cameras at various locations in the Lockyer Valley west of Brisbane showing flood prone areas. Nothing much to see at the moment!

Somerset Regional Council Flood monitoring cameras 9 cameras at various flood prone locations in the Somerset Regional Council’s area with Google Map link to show exact locations

Logan City flood monitoring cameras 6 Cameras at various flood prone locations in the Logan City area.

It would be good if others could post their favourites here and we can have a centeral reference point during events.

Cheers

Greg
