They managed to save the facilities at the top were the fire started. Would have been out of control yesterday I would suspect with winds up to 100 kph recorded in some areas. A pic by Joshua J Smith taken from the western side(I`m on the eastern side) of the range several days ago. The summit is 1200 meters above the plains were the photo was taken from & gives a scale of how big the fire is.
