Just want to say thankyou to RWM and Falling Droplet for keeping this thread going. I am really struggling right now, we are just caught in an extremely hot deja vu. These fires are horrendous and the heat is just unbearable. For me there has been nothing to post about,

I did replace my weather station and the heat blew the sensor out again within 2 days. It was only just a mid priced one. I bought 2 because my Dad, before going into a home wanted to see what was happening. I ended having to buy a third one as he somehow blew his read out panel to pieces, so I had all these spare parts, looks like the third lot of sensors will be going up. I will eventually replace it with a high end station. For the price it was not too bad.

I am sorting of nibbling at the bait and looking at the possibility of a storm near the end of the week. Just not 100% excited yet. The next few runs of the models may start to grab my attention more. We are due for a massive storm soon. The Mooloolaba storm was an awesome beast a few weeks back. I wouldn’t like to go through that again. It was a scaled down version of the 1985 Brisbane hailstorm that I was caught right in the middle off. Still to this day the most horrific storm I have been in.

Cheers and thanks everyone. Once the weather changes I think there will be more chatter on here.

Col.
