Just hearing a bit of thunder over Bracken Ridge.

3 soundings of interest for tomorrow and Friday. The first 2 are for Thursday where there is an interesting slight change in wind direction from 500mb - 400mb. I haven’t seen that for some time.

And the 3rd sounding which has a nice bit of moisture ealier in the day around 10:00am . Storms are forecast for later in the afternoon and evening with possibly severe storms on Friday. The TT’s are in the range of chance and severe storms in several areas.

Just have to wait and see.

A surface trough extends across the southern interior of Queensland leading to some showers and storms near and to the east of the trough. The trough will move slowly to the northwest while weakening today and tomorrow, with showers easing as a result. A southeasterly change is likely to move into the southeast on Friday, increasing the chances of showers and storms. Some raised dust areas are possible in parts of the central and southern interior on Thursday and Friday.
