Very moist and unstable conditions are likely to cause severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall along southeast coastal areas.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.

Locations which may be affected include Gold Coast, Brisbane, Caboolture, Coolangatta, Moreton Island, Cleveland, Jimboomba, Mount Tamborine and Redcliffe.
