Hit and miss storms are the only way we've had rain in the last at least 8 years.
This afternoon we had a very good one actually hit us. 37mm in half an hour. The storm lasted for about an hour I guess. Lots of good lightning and wonder ful crack of thunder, and those crackling rolls.
What a relief.
