My mate lives at Narangba and he has a home weather station. So I got him to compare with Caboolture and it was pretty close. But you have to a bit of jumping around the get everything close when it comes to rain. For some reason BoM have dropped the obs for Caboolture but WZ still are displaying them .

To check rainfall http://www.bom.gov.au/cg...rap_fwo.pl?IDQ60360.html and go to the Pine/Caboolture list 2nd last on the page, it is Oakey Flat Road sation. It is about the best way to Triangulate your weather. The Narangba on WZ is the Caboolture AWS.

Better still, I can now see what BoM are doing I just checked at there is a difference slight difference. Narangba has its own Beta page now.
http://www.bom.gov.au/places/qld/narangba/. Edit. This is where it is wrong. Just checked and they are using Redcliffe. That is 14 KM away and has Seabreezes etc. I am afraid that is not going to be right. I would use Caboolture
