Bunyip you guys have consistently had more rainfall then us all year....I think around 40% more than Tully in total...

and we also will feel the artic blast far more then you....forecast at Townsville is down to minimum of 11c on Saturday...like you mention you guys don't really get the worst of it till cold fronts start pushing north up the granite belt into QLD...

It certainly makes living up your way pretty attractive for those that dont enjoy chilly nights...the downside for the fisherman is the extra 5-10 knots of SE tradewinds you guys seem to get...

I might even go for a spin out tomorrow and see if any early season macks are starting to turn up yet...

28 its just that drizzle and showers in autumn and winter is the perennial downer up here I reckon..a good drenching would be ok but day after day of drizzle and cloud gets old pretty quickly..but I get what you are saying..you have a far more defined dry season up there which would probably be even worse knowing that you are not likely to get any substantial rain till next wet season.....

I guess wherever you live has its ups and downs...and at least we haven't had to yet deal with the Corona virus in the capacity that most other western countries have experienced...lets hope that continues to be the case...

Has anyone heard from Dormant..i wonder how they are going up there..?
