On this day 37 years ago it snowed in my hometown of Barraba. Has not happened since & my father could not recall it happening in his lifetime. I remember getting up for work & looking out the kitchen window thinking "Geez, thats a heavy frost!". Went outside to find about 4 inches of snow with light snow falling. Widespread snow fell over much of the Slopes & Plains as far west as Moree. My house is under the wingtip of the plane in the last photo(three trees in a row). Always will remember that day.
