Found outstanding dialogue of the mechanics of the record cold snap in Texas. The incursion of the cold pool that far south was considered record breaking. The sudden stratospheric warming event in the stratosphere being touted as the cause.
The possible link to climate change being a cause suggests there will be more of this.
No mention of an extended solar minimum of course😜
