Notes of yesterday weather - 10/5/21: Mostly sunny with Cu, Sc, Ci and Cc clouds. Slightly warm from early while falling slowly that eased to near average in the morning, slightly warm from the mid morning and warm from later in the morning as the temperature rose quickly in the mid morning before easing later in the morning. In the afternoon the temperature was a little variable after the maximum temperature was reached in the early afternoon before falling more quickly from later in the afternoon while remaining warm. Slightly above average dew point fell from early that became moderately high from the morning while the dew point rose slowly in the morning and fell slowly from the late morning. After rising a little later in the afternoon the dew point fell slowly during the rest of the afternoon and evening. Slightly above average relative humidity from early that rose slowly or was stable until the mid morning becoming moderately high in the mid morning before dropping back to near average from later in the morning as the relative humidity fell. From the mid afternoon the relative humidity was slightly above average while rising. Calm winds became light S to SW and then E to ESE in the mid morning, NE to NW from later in the morning, NNE to NW in the late afternoon and calm winds in the evening.

Today: Thunder at the start of the day as a thunderstorm passed to the south. After stable temperature at the start of the day and was warm, the temperature temporarily rose with the nearby thunderstorm becoming hot before falling during the rest of the early hours warm. Warm this morning while the temperature rises slowly. Dew point have mostly fell in the early hours from moderately high at the start of the day to slightly above average after the nearby thunderstorm, though the dew point rose temporarily with the nearby thunderstorm. This morning the dew point have been slightly above average while rising slowly. Relative humidity have been mostly near average from early while rising except with the passage of the nearby thunderstorm when the relative humidity fell temporarily and was slightly below average. Mostly calm winds in the early hours with some W to WSW winds followed by S to SW with and following the near by thunderstorm with brief gusty but light winds with the passage of the thunderstorm. Light W to SSW winds at times later in the early hours and this morning with mostly calm winds.

The maximum temperature yesterday of 29.3 C is the highest on record for May of the past 11 years exceeding the previous record high of 29 C on 3 May 2016.
