We could smell it...!

I stood out on the road, hoping for more. Didn't even get a close lighting strike.

Looked at the gauge this morning expecting nothing. For a moment it looked like 20mm & I hadn't even heard it - but it was just the shadow of the black holder. And the inside was bone dry. 😭 More water in this emoji than yesterday.

I've never seen my neighbour's mock orange bushes so laden with flowers. Covered. Reckon nature's got it wrong again.

Still, it made for some beautiful skies.
