I bought a few items of merino clothing during covid sales last year. I now have enough to survive a winter at my sister's in Armidale if I ever got stuck there - a distinct possibility these days.

The joy of good quality merino is that you can wear it in hot weather. It doesn't smell. And you can wash it in the washing machine.

I have a friend living in Warrnambool, who hates the weather. Earlier today I was thinking I could cope with a house swap over winter, but somehow, I think not...
