:) :) Electric blankets your a funny fella Hickory
I could understand up the hill or out where 28 is but on the beach, really...

We have always slept with a window open even when we lived in the Blue Mountains in full on winter,
good doona or 2 and can sleep like a baby. Never slept with an electric blanket on, have used them to
warm the bed before going to bed, but turned off when get in.

I brought Merino thermals before we went to Japan in 2018, never wore them :) climbed up to see the
snow monkeys and wore thongs the whole time, got lots of strange looks but it was not That cold, just
a bit of snow and slush. The coldest day was down south of Kobe it was blowing 40knt and ice in the wind.

I'm not a fan of the below 20° mornings, but they are good sleeping nights, cuddled up with the dog.


Few showers overnight gives me 7mm in the gauge this morning. :)
