Notes of yesterday weather - 1/9/21: Early morning fog with visibility down to 300 metres clearing to smoke haze. Partly cloudy with Cu clouds easing to sunny with some Cu clouds. The temperature fell slowly from the start of the day that was warm or hot easing to warm during the rest of the early hours while the temperature fell to the minimum temperature later in the early hours. From late in the early hours the temperature rose slowly and became stable before becoming near average during the morning and to slightly warm in the middle of the day after the temperature rose from the morning to the maximum temperature in the early afternoon. As the temperature fell during the rest of the afternoon the temperature eased back to near average. Early in the evening the temperature was slightly warm that rose slowly briefly in the mid evening and fell slowly during the rest of the evening that was warm. Moderately high dew point fell slowly from early and rose slightly later in the early hours before stabilising from late in the early hours. The dew point rose in the morning, fell slowly from the late morning before briefly rising in the early afternoon before falling afterwards that eased to slightly above average. From the mid afternoon the dew point returned to moderately high as the dew point rose slightly before generally stable dew point during the rest of the afternoon and the evening. Relative humidity was slightly above average while rising slowly before starting to fall in the mid morning after becoming moderate. After the relative humidity fell from the mid morning it became moderately high before easing back to slightly above average from the late morning. In the afternoon the relative humidity generally rose before rising more quickly later in the afternoon moderately high. In the evening the relative humidity was slightly above average while steadily rising. Light ENE and W to WNW winds at the start of the day was followed by S to WSW winds during the rest of the early hours with calm winds at times. Light SW to WSW winds tended S to SW early in the morning, then light SSE to NE winds in the morning with some variable winds later in the morning. Light E to NE winds in the afternoon, ENE to NNE in the mid afternoon and N to NE in the late afternoon and early evening. Mostly calm winds in the evening with some WNW to NW winds later in the evening.

Today: A brief moderate to heavy shower with 4 mm in 3 minutes at 1am (maximum rainfall rate of 109.8 mm/hr) before light showers until the middle of the early hours. Mist and fog clearing early this morning with visibility down to 400 metres. Warm at the start of the day and hot during the rest of the early hours as the temperature rose very slowly at the start of the day, became stable afterwards before falling from later in the early hours. As the temperature rose from early in the morning it eased from warm in the early morning to near average presently. Dew point is remaining moderately high that rose slowly at the start of the day, became stable afterwards, fell from late in the early hours, became stable in the early morning before generally rising this morning. Relative humidity rose slowly from early that was slightly above average before falling in the past hour as the relative humidity became moderately high this morning. Mostly calm winds in the early hours with a period of E to NE winds with the rainfall, calm winds early this morning becoming E to ESE in the last hour.
