Thats a nice drop Bunyip..and great to see some out in the west 28..tropo it sounds like you guys have missed out a bit this year..the next few months might likely change that for you..

We had around the 150mm mark down along the beach areas of Mission Beach but probably lucky to get 100mm out here in the foothills..

So quite a dud flood event given that Cirns had set up numerous sandbagging stations...

It sure has been lovely soaking rain though...I have been spending some time digging holes and planting areas that were previously detroyed by pigs and turkeys andthe ground has been been so hard and dry..

This will certainly soften it up a bit and water in what I have planted but as we all know once this low heads off to the SE we will be left with stinking hot still days for a while..

I dont even think I want to head out the reef in windless 36-37c weather and the trout will likely not be in bite mode as they were the same a week or so back.
