Oooo snake encounters, I've never had one of those. I think I've only ever seen 2 snakes at Chillagoe in the 11 years I've been here. The 'worst' surprise I've had is the odd green tree frog managing to make it into my bedroom and jump on my face.

To be expected, I don't think we'll get much out of this. Sprinkled for about half an hour earlier this morning, I was out in it and didn't get wet. Don't think we'll get much wind either, the Featherbeds protect us from most of that. But I put a few things into the container which should have been put there months back.

Still, it's a nice day, overcast and coolish with a gentle breeze occasionally. 29degrees in the house, 64% humidity. Just on 30degrees on the deck.

Apart from being a weather watcher, I think I've finally become one of the blase mob because nothing ever happens (dare I say it).
