BOM rainfall charts are indicating the coastal border of Qld/Nsw could get 100mm for this event from surface and upper troughing.
In fact this event extends from the far north down through to Tasmania.
This interesting report also suggests the atmosphere is primed for storms
Also article also shows the expected rain for all regions .
Not a good scenario for primitive camping.
