Mt Glorious NW of Brisbane has received 1200mm in 8 days

Wivenhoe Dam (95% capacity) water release causing some flooding downstream.

This ABC report has lots of pictures and documentation of what’s happening.

Coolongatta forecast is for 50-150mm tomorrow. However l will say we didn’t get the 100mm forecast yesterday. It was all well north of us.
Event should be over by Monday

This event is what one might expect with a cyclone transitioning.
This has been caused by stalling strong sub tropical troughing over the affected areas.
