Notes of yesterday weather - 27/2/22: Cloudy with Cu and Ns clouds. Light to moderate rain periods from early with several brief periods of heavy falls. A moderate thunderstorm in the morning with 6 minutes of heavy rain. A moderate thunderstorm with brief heavy falls in the mid morning, a moderate thunderstorm later in the morning with moderate to heavy falls with 8 mm in 10 minutes and then a severe thunderstorm with moderate to heavy falls with 17 mm in 16 minutes. The middle of the day saw a severe slow moving thunderstorm with heavy and intense rain which saw 51 mm in 37 minutes, easing at times to moderate and peaked at 162.2 mm/hr at the end of the storm. Further heavy to intense rainfall occurred in the early afternoon with 48 mm in 62 minutes peaking at a rain rate of 132.4 mm/hr. Some brief heavy falls in the afternoon before 24 mm in 22 minutes with moderate to heavy falls and briefly intense peaking at 138.8 mm/hr at the start of it early in the evening. With the passage of the low there was further moderate to heavy falls with very gusty winds early in the evening with 32 mm in 38 minutes. Afterwards was light rain. The temperature fell very slowly from early close to average, before rising very slightly during the morning while dropping back to slightly cool early in morning and then cold in he mid morning and very cold in the late morning. The temperature rose very slowly in the afternoon that was very cold easing later in the afternoon to slightly cool early in the evening with the temperature briefly falling for a period and to near average late tonight while rising slowly. Dew point was near average that rose very slowly in the morning and afternoon, fell briefly early in the evening before rising slowly afterwards. Relative humidity was stable, elevated and near saturation and reached periods of complete saturation (100%) from the middle of the day that was close to average becoming very high from the mid morning easing to moderately high early in the evening and slightly above average later in the evening. Light S to SE winds from early, S to SW for a period early in the morning and S to SSE afterwards. Some SSW or SSE to ESE winds later in the morning and in the early afternoon. Light SSW to NQ winds in the afternoon, shifting to SW to SE and then S to SSW from late in the afternoon. Wind was moderate and gusty (to 41 kph) during the early evening with the passage of the coastal low.

Today: Light rain early in the day with some early this morning. Near average temperature from early that fell slowly before rising from early this morning while becoming cool. Dew point have been near average that fell slowly from early before rising from early this morning. Relative humidity have been stable and at or near saturation from early close to average becoming high during this morning. Light S to SW winds from early, tending WNW to SW during this morning.
