Not sure if anyone is up watching the radar it’s 10:20pm I’ve been walking around my yard with headlight we have a major flooding event happening here. My creek is way up the rain hasn’t stopped. I tipped out my gauge this arvo around 5pm and had 51mm in it I just walked past my gauge which holds 280mm and it’s maybe 3/4 full I’m waiting around to measure it because i can’t sleep with this sort of weather event happening. Pretty sure I’m going to lose a few good young fruit trees some of which have 6-10ft of water over top of them. This rain has just sat on top of us yet just to the north at daintree village looks like it’s clear !!!! Will update later or in morning
