So sorry, GT, as 28 says, crazy weather. I don't want to count my chickens just yet but it is maybe over, I think the deafening silence woke me up at 3am. Sodden everywhere as everyone else is. The pathways are lethal as Scott found out one time.
The ferry needs work before they run a regular service and meanwhile, having missed our regular grocery shop we're working on the contents of the little freezer and canned foods. Hmm, canned spaghetti isn't my favourite snack though I kinda liked it when younger, with beetroot and melted cheese (partner rolls his eyes in disgust).
Not many plants/trees like living submerged for days - there go my seedlings. Hearing the occasional crash in the forest..
Thought it was approaching the 1996 flood there for awhile and I'd never wish that on anyone.
