Was thinking the same thing this morning mate, whilst I sweated buckets just doing normal chores..

Had an old mate I havent seen in 30 years drop by today for lunch and a catch up ...poor bugga is from Albury/wodonga where its currently maxing out at around 20c with nights below 10c...Staying in Port Douglas its quite a shock to the system for him and the missus...

But enjoy the sun while we can...by the forecast next week is back to reality with showers, wind and more normal temps as a High starts to muscle its way in and up.....

and looks like she is a Cat 5 for the past couple of hours now...what a beast of a thing...good thing its in the middle of nowhere...Dont know about the size but it looks impressive on that water vapour chart 28...

Bunyip I might have to do the same with my one and only Rambutan tree...its was absolutely loaded a week ago..now the cockies have decimated the fruit while still green..might top it so I can more easily net it in the future..
