I posted this in the world weather section, however it seems fitting to post it here too.
Sadly, whilst the world condemns Brazil for fires in the Amazon... Indonesia still do their usual clearance of the rain forest.
This image from Himarawi was taken on 14th Sep at midday and shows the island of Borneo on the left and Sulawesi on the right, with multiple fires visible on Borneo. The only time it seems to hit the news is when Singapore air quality drops.
