Climate strike was on again today. Looks like this might be a re occuring event. Twitter is trending #FridaysForFuture this afternoon and from what l can gather friday is the set day? for climate strike. John Laws was funny on the radio this morning. He was bagging the protests. But he said the students attend the rallies because they get a day off school. Then he said. If it were on the weekend no one would go because no one is prepared to forgo their leisurely weekend. I couldn't help thinking if there was some truth in what he said I think it is great some children /adolescents are becoming climate warriors.Leading the way . Caretakers of the global climate. The intention is good. I wonder though if they understand a world without coal and oil in a world that is not yet set up for the transition. There is power in numbers. So expecting something to come out of this?
