The ‘Autumn break’ has arrived for farmers and those looking for some good rainfall.30 mm is quite common however we received 48 mm in 24 hrs
That will get the seed germinated and provide enough moisture through autumn and winter
The rainfall filled our tanks so l am happy.
It hasn’t rained properly for 2 months and the ground was cracking.
Today we nearly got bogged on the side of the road when we pulled over.
 Cheers

A cool & partly cloudy day here after a foggy start. Pretty typical conditions for this time of year with a high pressure system sitting over the top of us.
Wet conditions return from Thursday with the next system coming in.

Hi there Blackie, you seem to have had better luck at contacting people than me as I have no ones details. Have absolutely no idea what has happened. We may need to contact phpBB (software host) to get some answers. Might be worth getting in contact with Jake as well. In the meantime I'll contribute towards getting this particular forum cranking again. |

Winter has certainly kicked into gear with showery conditions yesterday & cooler temperatures in the mid teens forecast for most the week. More showers forecast for the next two days then things clear up for a period of dry conditions with light winds & chilly mornings. Time to rug up & dust off those winter woolies. |

Off topic, the Australianweatherforum has been offline for a while now, I can only presume it is because of the sad death of their admin Robyn (rivergirl) who ran the site singlehandedly. She would have liaised with their web hosts to keep the site going.https://www.ski.com.au/x...ather.85113/post-5058709 |

A rather typical wintery outbreak yesterday with lots of showers for the south east, dribs & drabs for the west. Was a fairly wet evening down on Phillip Island (where I was staying last night). 9mm in total down at Rhyll.

We are about to enter dry spell of chilly mornings & sunny afternoons.

Hi I am also a refugee from the AWF . Didn’t know what had happened to it , thought it was my mobile. Lurked a lot but commented not that often but always checked in to see what the latest news. Sounds like a sad end to the forum :-(
Hope it can get back up but if not then I will be here.

Feeling like we’re going into winter now, it was chilly this week 🥶

Coming week looks at least a little better with lighter winds and fairly dry. Love the calm late autumn 🍂

Another dry & sunny day after yet another chilly start.
A more moderate wind around today as the next trough & cold front approaches. Not expecting much in terms of rainfall, perhaps 5mm here.

Stronger system forecast for early next week.

Rain has finally arrived here to kick start this cold week long outbreak. A very wet day coming up, potentially 15-20mm here. |
