Saw that approaching RF, thought it might be a little tenuous by the time it reached the coast but am pleased to see 10mm in the gauge, saves watering for awhile.

That low in the Gulf has got a fair bit of coverage. Can't get here fast enough.

72% humidity - perfect 😊

7mm in gauge this morning, 3mm yesterday morning.

Grass is knee high. Hope the mower man makes it here this week.

All my technomological measuring devices have preetty much succumbed to our climate, not that trustworthy anymore otherwise I'd be checking them cause last 2 days have been pretty full on.

The AP has a 26.6c dewpoint at 5pm though..

All this talk of rain and storm and I've had 3mm in the last 4 days.

Managed to put out 16lt of weed killer yesterday though, ill see what I missed this weekend.

Interesting blob by the coast with a lot of yellow and red. Has it been a wild night in Cairns? We've had continual bright sheet lightning all the way out here for the last few hours.

Yes, 28, have been watching it for a few hours now while downloading stuff. I thought it was just tracking north but now seems to be spreading and approaching the coast somewhat. Awesome lightshow and still silent here.

And you're so right, RF, 'orrible 'orrible evening humidity.

Nothing really to add after a horrid night under the fan trying to sleep, and the constant flash of distant storms.
Got wet taking the dog for a run, but it's not really getting in to us.

Fair bit of noise around out the back, but the rain is just not getting here.

Racecourse had 52mm in half an hour.. Working up the hill atm, slow trip home down the Kuranda range and through town, some epic close bolts and super heavy sections.

Been watching the sky change through various shades of grey for a few hours. Various shades of grey sheets of rain dumping to the east for an hour or so.

Onky just starting to hear rumbles to the east. Lovely & cool outside. No rain so far.

Edit: First sprinkles, sound like they're getting heavier. Even in the face of current radar we still need to keep our fingers crossed.
