Hi everyone,
My current knowledge of weather is the sun makes you get sunburnt and the rain makes you get wet.

On my quest to learn a bit more about the weather from a slightly scientific perspective, but a simple guide, I stumbled across "Man Vs Weather" by Dennis DiClaudio. It is a light hearted book, with some science, but fun examples. I may actually learn something at this rate!

I have the Amazon Kindle version

I have just received and excellent little book called "The Cloud Collector's Handbook". It is a publication by the Cloud Appreciation Society and ISBN 978-0-340-91943-9.

Great fun and I can't wait for it to get light tomorrow to see what I can spot.

My book would be "Weather Predicting Simplified" by Michael William Carr
ISBN 0-07-012031-5.

It is getting a bit on the old side now (1999), however the weather hasn't changed much since then, but forecasting has. Great simple explanations though.
