Two rows of shrubby trees I've planted at the back fence. Most of Chillagoe has a back lane, maybe left over from the old dunny-man days. They're dirt, and will never be sealed. Whirlwinds start over in the far street, behind the green roof, along that side street, across the main road, across that large vacant lot. Built up a bit of force by then. Over the dusty back lane, picking up half of it. Used to sweep straight up my yard. Never nice. There was one sat over the back lane a few years ago, it was that bright red brown and was like a miniature of those monster brown things you see in America.
