It is funny how a few deg's °c can be felt.
I can get up in the morning and just slip on singlet and shorts every morning above 19° but at 18° and below I need at a minimum of long sleeve work shirt,
Tracky pants start at 17°
Can't see much chance of getting out up here this weekend Scott..
Maybe the guys with bigger boats, but not the tinny fleet.
Fencing this week and the wind is making it hard to set posts it is that strong...

Did anyone feel an earth tremor today at around 12:20pm? my wife was in the kitchen and she said she could hear the pots that are hanging up in the kitchen, tapping/rattling together?

Nothing on any of the EQ sites
Didn't feel anything here.
A few cool starts this last week, not that enjoyable riding around before sun up looking for pigs with the dog, but still needs to happen.
Forecast rain has been scaled back a lot now, don't really need any just yet, still a few post to set this week.

The mornings have been really cool. It was around 23 inside for ages. Now only 28.
Everything has pretty well dried out again.
Cloudy day on & off.
Lots of campers & caravans in town. Lots appear to be travelling in groups. Haven't seen this many in town for years, except at event times. Great for our local businesses.

Didnt fell a tremor here... You might be on a fault line YS... Back to windy showery [censored]after a couple of really nice days on the weekend.. We got out around the islands on saturday to give the missus a bit of practice on the mackeral... Filled up on them in a couple of hours so had an early mark to get ready to hit the reef on Sunday.. Missus landed her first Spanish, sunday morning, in a double hookup within 30 seconds of putting the lures out ..Got a couple more then trolled over to another favourite mark and picked up a Yellowfin on the way....then dropped some bottom lines straight into a school of Nannigai...another first for the missus..pulled up lines and were on the way home by midday with a full esky again.....maybe there were so many fish about because no-one has been able to get out much the past few months..? no more then about 12 knots max and often only a gentle breeze of about 5 knot... Looking like much of the same again from Sunday onwards for down this way though Cairns and north looks consistently windy.. Lots and lots of tourists down this way as well 28..hopefully not too many victorians..  Pigs are all gone here now Bunyip for the moment..I got half a dozen and the council trapped 8-9.. Got my grumpy pants on. According to the ABC weather presenter Qld had a dreary weekend, no it didn’t. SE Qld may have but it was glorious up this way. Grrrr.

You did well Dean, 13mm up this way , just enough to wet the 2t of fert I put out Friday arvo.
Friday , Saturday looking like fishing weather.. have to see if I can find a mate , Mrs is working those days.

It sort of tried hard out here, I think it was the day before yesterday, could've been the day before. The lightest of light misting rains.
Otherwise, bright sunny mornings, then alternating overcast for the rest of the day. Real exciting stuff. lol.
Lots of tourists in town. Haven't seen so many caravans since before Yasi.

It was just the normal. it hadn't rained for a while, so i though i would get the tractor out to do some work to the driveway, and it seems without fail every time i do IT RAINS

Once again, we had an ultra light sprinkle around midnight last night. Nothing in my gauge except a slightly damp dead insect. Someone said they registered half a millimetre.
Another overcast day. This is the third year running we've had cloud until this time of year. Terrible for the observatory.
Warm day, and the house is still 30°C, at 9.20pm.

Did you get the driveway done Dean..its still a bit wet here but i have to get machine in at some stage and level off the pig diggings sO I can keep the grass down...
Pretty good fishing weather ahead and I have a solar system going up later in the week so the clear skies are great to see...
Did you get out and get amongst them Bunyip..?
