Yeah not much going on weather wise, even the coastal showers that were predicted
didn't really show up for us. Not that I mide to much, we have had a couple of those
tropical days that the southerners all come for, lol

Good times on that race, They used to do one from Burra to Broken hill back in the '80's
I can remember them coming through the little town of Olary on the way. Crazy stuff.
But good for the charities..

Got medallions here somewhere, that they sold to raise money.
I was a young jackaroo in outback SA , we would spend the weekend at the pub to watch them come through,
They setup an overnight camp on the town common, with music and BBQs was great time.

At 2am weird explosions, am suspecting someone stored their ammo in their indoor wood stove and forgot on this so far coldest night of the year.

Yes was the first night with a cotton blanket on.
Was also the first night with the pot belly going after I moved it to the middle
of the verandah from the western end, with the prevailing SE breeze it is now
adding warm air into the house..
Not really necessary but it's just nice to have a fire.

So much for the Dry Season. It's raining, proper rain. Bit of thunder & lightning around earlier in the evening.

We had 5mm of rain around 2pm-ish, and then raining on and off with decent rain from about 6pm, still raining now.

Last couple years we've had 3 or 4 days in June or July of misting rain, not rain gauge stuff.

This is so welcome.

Yes, very lucky. Lived here 12 years & this is the first real rain in June.

Yes, it was pretty cool last night. 17 degrees in the house and I think about 12 on the deck. Gorgeous day though, cool at times.

Brrrrr. At Kewarra for a week with sis & her extended family. One of those beachside AirB&Bs.

Cold. They live south, and are finding it cold. The pool got used when the kids were here, but way too cold to dip my big toe in.

Apparently sprinkled early morning, and the odd brief try mid to late morning.

Shame about the weather for your family 28..

The missus's best friend arrived today from the USA visiting for 2 weeks, first time over here ...bit disappointing that we cant get them out to the reef or islands during that period and its certainly looks like the weather is not going to play the game for any of the period..
