Im on the hose as well 4 joined together drives me mad, watering every second day taking between 1-2 hours. No rain in sight only had 30mm for the month so far. Could get interesting if it holds like this for a few more weeks without storms. |

40degrees daily. Dragging hoses here too. Desperate for at least a quick storm.

Also noteworthy is while a Cat 5 cyclone was smashing Vanuatu which is close to 1800kms South of the equator, on the same day Acapulco in Mexico, which is about 1800kms North of the equator, was also smashed by a Cat 5 Hurricane....
I'd say that doesnt happen too often.

Well I managed to catch 3mm over the weekend from a couple of passing showers. Think maybe 1mm should of gone down as yesterday but I'll just lump it in as todays.
So back on the hose's lol, Glad I'm not the only one out each evening with a beer in one hand and a hose in the other.
The creeks have held on very well this year and have only now started to drop, but they are drying very quickly now.
Yes the cyclones on both sides does not happen to often
Cheers

Ended up with 41.5mm for the month, about half the average of 85. The yard is just starting to get that brown tinge. The temp ranged from 18°C to 35°C.
Cat 5 in October is amazing. I think the people in Vanuatu were a bit unlucky.
YTD: 2176.5mm
