Notes of yesterday weather - 17/4/20: Mostly sunny with some cu clouds developing from the morning before ci and cc clouds in the afternoon. A hot day. The dew point fell in the early hours before rising during the morning, then fell from the mid morning and became stable from the late morning close to average. The dew point was stable during the afternoon, fell slightly in the mid afternoon, rose sharply for a brief period later in the afternoon before rising more slowly during the rest of the afternoon whilst becoming moderately high. In the evening the dew point fell close to average. Moderately high relative humidity in the early hours and became near average from the morning. Calm winds in the early hours before light and variable winds in the morning before N to WNW winds from the mid morning, NW to SW in the afternoon, N to NW in the mid afternoon before ENE to NNE later in the afternoon and in the early evening, followed by calm winds.

Today: A warm night. The temperature have stopped rising and have became stable in the last half-hour. The dew point fell slowly initially in the early hours, then became stable before rising this morning close to average. Relative humidity was slightly below average in the early hours and was stable before returning to near average this morning. Calm winds overnight before NE winds from 9:20am.

A new record for April daily maximum temperature for the past 10 years (old record of 33.1C on 15/4/2018).

At 1415: A very brief light shower in the late morning and a few very brief showers since 1pm (a few drops). Light N to NE winds in the morning before a dry W to WNW wind change at 11:33 am, with some WSW winds in the middle of the day, shifting NNW to WNW presently. Maximum temperature of 28 C (slightly above average) reached 30 minutes after the wind change and have been falling since and now down to 23 C. From the mid morning the dew point fell slowly close to average before falling following the wind change. The dew point fell to a low of 12 C (moderately low) before rising slightly while remaining moderately low. Relative humidity was near average becoming slightly below average in the late morning before rising this afternoon and is 59% (close to average).


A light few drops of rain during the afternoon until clearing in the mid afternoon. The dew point continued to rise during the afternoon close to average before becoming stable later in the afternoon before falling slowly tonight. Relative humidity remained near average during the afternoon and also tonight. Light NNW to W winds in the afternoon before backing to WSW to SSE later in the afternoon with some calm winds before light NNE to ENE winds in the late afternoon and early tonight with calm winds. During the rest of tonight winds have been calm.

at 1250:1250: 4.0 mm from a mild thunderstorm at 11am, with mostly light falls and 2 very brief periods of moderate falls. The maximum temperature so far was reached at 10:30am (a cool day) before falling before and during the thunderstorm. The temperature have since risen and is currently 20 C. The dew point stopped falling before rising a little before, during the after the thunderstorm, but rose more quickly before the storm. The dew point is remaining close to average. Near average relative humidity rose and became high with and following the storm before dropping back a little this afternoon while remaining high. SW to NW winds became N to NW later in the morning with some NW to WNW winds before the thunderstorm and have been NW this afternoon.

The temperature continued to rise during the afternoon and reached the maximum in the mid afternoon slightly below average before falling during the rest of today. The dew point rose during the afternoon before falling in the late afternoon and tonight while remaining close to average. The relative humidity was high early in the afternoon before falling during the afternoon and became moderately high later in the day before becoming high tonight. Light NW became N to NE from 2pm, NNE later in the afternoon with some calm winds before calm winds tonight.

A warm day. The temperature was a little variable later in the morning and in the afternoon. The dew point fell from the mid morning moderately low before becoming low in the late morning and stabilising. The dew point was generally stable during the afternoon before rising sharply later in the afternoon while remaining moderately low. Following this and thorough to tonight the dew point have remained moderately low and stable. The relative humidity fell quite quickly during the morning moderately low before becoming low in the late morning whilst stabilising. The relative humidity remained low and stable in the afternoon before rising from the late afternoon returning back to near average tonight. Calm winds until S to SW winds in the mid morning, WNW to WSW winds in the late morning with some N to WNW winds, NW to WSW in the early afternoon before N to WNW winds. From the mid afternoon were NW to SW winds with some N to NW winds before mostly calm winds from the late afternoon.

The dew point slowly rose during the morning before falling slowly from the mid morning, then generally rose slowly in the early afternoon before becoming stable close to average. From the late afternoon the dew point have been falling slowly close to average. Near average relative humidity from the morning and was a little in the late morning and the early afternoon. Light SSW to WSW winds in the morning, S to SE from the mid morning before backing to NNE and then veering to S to SE in the late morning and early afternoon. This was followed by NNE to E winds in the early afternoon, ESE to ENE from the mid afternoon, ENE to NE in the late afternoon before mostly calm winds tonight.

A slightly above average maximum temperature with the temperature a little variable from the mid afternoon to the mid afternoon. The dew point generally fell from the mid morning, rose very slowly during the afternoon whilst remaining close to average before rising later in the afternoon. Tonight the dew point have been falling slowly. Relative humidity have been near average before becoming moderately high tonight. Light S to SE with some E to SE later in the morning, E to SE in the afternoon, E to ENE later in the afternoon before calm winds from the late afternoon.

Notes of yesterday weather - 25/4/20: Mostly sunny with some cu clouds after early mist cleared. The temperature was a little variable from the mid morning to the mid afternoon. In the early hours the dew point fell slowly before rising during the morning, then fell from the mid morning, rose very slowly during the afternoon whilst remaining close to average before rising later in the afternoon. In the evening the dew point fell slowly. Moderately high relative humidity in the early hours, early morning and in the evening and near average during the remainder of the day. Calm winds early before S to SW winds in the morning, S to SE with some E to SE winds later in the morning, E to SE in the afternoon, E to ENE later in the afternoon before calm winds from the late afternoon.

Today: The dew point fell slowly in the early hours, then rose this morning close to average before stabilising in the last 30 minutes. Relative humidity was moderately high in the early hours before returning to near average this morning. Calm winds overnight before SSW to WSW winds from 8am and W to WSW winds in the last 30 minutes.

A warm day with the temperature variable from the late morning to the mid afternoon. From the mid morning the dew point fell, before rising in the early and mid afternoon and then fell during the rest of the afternoon whilst remaining close to average. Early tonight the dew point rose before falling very slowly close to average. Near average relative humidity during today and this evening. The relative humidity was a little variable later in the morning and in the afternoon. Light SSW to WSW winds in the mid morning before backing to NNE to E from later in the morning with some N winds. During the afternoon winds became E to NE, N to NE early tonight before calm winds during the rest of tonight.

A slightly warm day with the temperature variable later in the morning and through to the mid afternoon. From 9pm the temperature stopped falling and have been rising. From the mid afternoon the dew point fell slowly before rising slowly from the early afternoon close to average. Tonight the dew point fell very slowly before rising later tonight. Near average relative humidity from the morning. Light S to SW winds from the mid morning with some variable winds, ENE to SE in the late morning, SSE to ESE in the early afternoon, then ESE to ENE, E to NE before calm winds tonight.
