69mm in the gauge here this morning. Around 50 of that fell in about 30 minutes at 8pm, there was water everywhere for a while. A nice blob of red sat over us.
The forecast for this arvo is a possible severe storm with heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding. Could be interesting.
It's good to see you have a new official gauge Scott. We could do with a couple more in Cairns also.

14mm here overnight. We're slowly crawling our way towards the 15 year average of 464mm. A way to go yet though. The GFS saying at the moment no Tropical lows around for the next couple of weeks. A bit unusual for this time of year.

46 mm overnight, most of that from a ripper of a storm.

We caught the edge of those storms yesterday, 16mm in the gauge here. There was one close strike in the arvo.

Good morning folks :)
No rain up here, but wow that radar looks good this morning if your south of kans.. Here is hoping it moves north over the next few days.
Last couple of days have been fairly uncomfortable, even used the A/C for a few hours each night to get some sleep without laying in a pool of sweat.
Scott, I've always wanted a Brno fox in .22 hornet, shot one when I was much younger for a bit and made good money on foxes. I've got a CBC break action single shot & a CZ 527 with the set trigger, works the same as the 2 triggers, you just push it forward to set it , or just shoot it without. With NSW doing this unjustified attack on law abiding firearm owners, I'd like to have the coin to bring a couple of nice Brno's to QLD, would like a .222 just as nostalgia and a hornet fox.
Cheers

Getting some rain out of that storm only now, started about 5:30pm. Watched the big bank of black moving from the west, but it did a Chillagoe and split each side. Bit of lightning and thunder, but in the distance.

The forecast for White Rock yesterday was 3-30mm, we got right at the bottom end of the scale with 3. Good radar all around but it never moved over here. It looks a bit similar today.
