Total for today stands at 4.1 mm after 0.1 mm in some light rain that followed the storm. A bit disappointing as I though I might do well today for a change. The dew point have remained moderately high at 20 C and stable for the last few hours. Overcast following the storm with the temperature falling very slowly and have been completely static at 24 C in the last hour. Relative humidity have also remained high and is stable. Wind have light NNE to E and N to NE in the last hour.

Well that fire two days ago was a bit too close for comfort. We were all getting ready to evacuate and then we were told we could stay.
I am over this dry and heat. Bring on the wet season.

Glad to hear that you were ok. I think most people are sick of this weather now.

Based on my weather forecast software that I use on my website, which sucks in GFS data and merges it with my local data, there isn't any rain due for at least the next 9 days.
Tiny tiny chance of a sprinkle on Monday, but that is it.

Temp = Red line, DP = Blue line and bar graph at the bottom is precipitation.

The temperature rose steadily from 8am until the maximum temperature of 39.3 C at 2:20 pm. This coincided with the sea breeze taking hold with the temperature falling following this, quickly at first. The dew point fell quickly in the morning reaching -30 C from the mid morning where it remained through to the afternoon while slightly improving. The dew point then rose quickly with the sea breeze rising 16 C in 2 minutes and then more gradually following this.

Relative humidity also crashed in the morning to a ridiculously low of 1% and remained this low until increasing gradually from 2:20pm. Presently the dew point is 8 C and relative humidity is 33%. Light NW to SW winds in the morning with N to NW winds developing later in the morning and during the afternoon. Some light N to NE winds in the afternoon at times before winds shifted ESE to NE in the mid afternoon (sea breeze), followed by E to NE winds through to tonight.
