The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 1:30 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar near Caboolture and Harrisville. These thunderstorms are moving towards the east. They are forecast to affect Peak Crossing by 2:00 pm and Bundamba Lagoon by 2:30 pm.

Damaging winds and large hailstones are likely.

Each cell is shooting out a lot of lightning as they approach the East Coast.

Warm at the start of the day and hot during the rest of the early hours as the temperature fell slowly before stabilising late in the early hours. As the temperature rose from the early morning it eased to slightly warm and to briefly warm in the mid morning and then slightly warm afterwards and near average in the late morning with the temperature rising in the mid morning before rising slowly afterwards that was rather variable. Near average temperature in the afternoon that generally rose slowly in the early afternoon before generally fell during the rest of the afternoon. Early in the evening the temperature became slightly warm and then warm before becoming hot later in the evening as the temperature fell slowly before stabilising later in the evening. During the afternoon the temperature eased to near average and slightly cool from the mid afternoon while falling before steadily falling a little slowly during the evening that became slightly warm early in the evening and warm later in the evening.
